sometimes don't you just need a quick moment of inspiration. Or maybe you just need a moment of caffeinated contemplation to reflect on life. That's the idea behind my weekly coffee with Nicola espresso shots. I'll be sharing short jolts of inspiration in each clip. Hey, everybody, welcome to your weekly espresso shot. I invite you to write a letter to yourself. And I want to share a letter I wrote to myself. Now I've done this frequently. I write letters to myself all the time. It's sort of like journaling. But every once in a while, I feel the need to remind myself rather profoundly and intensely. And then I put this letter away, wherever. And then I sometimes find them again. And today, I found one, one that I wrote at the beginning of 2023. And when I'm recording this, it's November 9 2023. So this must have been earlier in the year because I don't remember it at all. But I wanted to read that letter to you today. And I have this wonderful stationery that at the top of the stationery it says hello darling. And the reason I bought that it's a notepad of paper. The reason I bought that is because my father used to always say darling, he'd say hey darlin, without the G, because we're southern. And when you throw a southern swing, a southern twang on anything, you drop the G. So may I please share a reminder I wrote to myself, and then invite you to write one to yourself. Hello, darlin. Dear Nicoa How are you? Did you know your story is big. And your purpose is present and powerful. It's most important that you feel deeply and fall deeply back in love with yourself. And remember your wholeness. Which by the way doesn't require you to be in relationship with others. When you are you. You work through self healing and learning and karma faster. Oh, and it's so much more fun when you focus on you. But solitude, stillness, and self love, love affairs are so so powerful and profound. You can't get this thing called life wrong. A self love affair is all you need. Have fun, and allow yourself the joy and pleasure and fulfillment that you deserve. life by design. Love me. What letter do you need to write to yourself today? I think I have been having a self love affair for the past, let's say 11 months, really trying to come back into my wholeness really fine tuning what I've always known that I am enough and that I can't get this thing called life wrong. And that the only reason I'm here is to have an experience. And the more fully I engage in that experience, the more fully I play the game of experiencing then the better I feel. I'm gonna write myself another letter today and reflect on that. I hope you will find a pen and a pad of paper.
