sometimes don't you just need a quick moment of inspiration. Or maybe you just need a moment of caffeinated contemplation to reflect on life. That's the idea behind my weekly coffee with Nicola espresso shots. I'll be sharing short jolts of inspiration in each clip. Hey, everybody, it's Nicoa. This is your weekly espresso shot. I'm coming to you with lots of words today. You know, I have so many words to share. Yes, I love talking. And I want to talk about the power of those words and the power of talking and the influence that you have on the world. But most importantly, the influence that you have on your world, your life, your body, your experience, your emotions, your success, your failures. It has everything to do with the words not only you are speaking, but the words you are also thinking and the words you are writing the power of words. I really wanted to ponder this this weekend. And I kept thinking, how can I talk about the power of words, using your words, like a wand, using the spelling, right? That's why they call words. They say spelling, because you're casting a spell with every word, you use. mean words really have power, their meaning crystallizes our perceptions that ultimately, shape everything that you believe in the world. It shapes how you view other people and how you view yourself. It really drives your behavior as well. And therefore it creates your world creates your way of being it the power arises from your emotional response. Every time you think a word, say a word, read a word, speak a word, hear a word, it is your emotional meaning what am I making this mean? And what power Am I giving this word? You know, there's just so many layers to the language that we use. And if you begin to dissect it, so this is where that observer of self comes in. I'm inviting you to begin this week to dissect the story and the words you're using. So the words create the story, right? They have so many layers, there's just a way to communicate. No, it's more of a way to create. So there's energy with every word, they each hold a vibration with the spelling that you created, they have power, they can sometimes actually reveal our biggest insecurities. When you say things like, well, oh, that must be nice, or I wish I could afford that. Or that's too bad for me, then you are creating that belief system in that reality. But Nicola, I really do wish those things. Okay, well, then let's change the story around it. Someone was recently invited to participate in something and they said, I can't afford that. Now, what was nice about the way they said that was, I can't afford that at the moment. So I appreciated that was like a 50%, powerful attempt to say, I know that there are days and times and it may be in the future, I could afford that. But right now I cannot. So I like that that was kind of a one step closer than just saying, Well, I can't afford that. You see the difference? Now the ultimate solution there is to if you really want to manifest a future or a reality that is completely abundant, and creates the outcome of being able to afford something as an example, then perhaps your shifts should sound something like this. Oh, thank you so much for inviting me. I'm choosing to put all my resources into this area of my life right now. But I definitely will keep that in mind in the future.

I didn't say I couldn't afford it. I just said, I'm not going to choose to afford it right now. I'm not going to choose to spend my money on that right now. And that's always the case, right? We have a variety of resources, and we are always making choices. But it is the story that you tell that creates this vibration around you that may or may not be opening you up to receiving exactly what you want. Really ponder that for a minute. Yes. And if someone says, Hey, we're going to Thailand, have you ever been to Thailand? My practice has been to respond. Wow. Not yet. Instead of Oh no, I've never been. There's a big powerful difference in how we use the language and the tone in which we're using that language. So really think carefully about the words that you say, you know, I am fill in the blank. Wow, that's gonna be a powerful outcome. So I am abundant versus I am so poor right now and I am sick or I am disappointed. What reality are you trying? only create with your words. Use your words as a wand and you can do magic this morning. Actually, I had been thinking like I said over the weekend as to what the topic would sound like when I shared it. And that song you can do magic. I think the band is America. You can do magic. You can have anything that you desire. Don't worry, I won't quit my day job. But you know that song? It was playing in my head and then damn if it didn't come on on my yacht radio playlist. Yeah, rock radio. Y'all take your words and begin to notice them. My clients get so annoyed with me because they'll say things like well I always am late or I this the other and I'll go historically, historically, I've been late to things but I'm becoming more efficient and on time as the week's go by.
